How to Add Mod Slots Cyberpunk 2077

There is a simple way to get really great stat rules on items in Cyberpunk 2077. There are lot of places in the open world where you can find either epic or legendary items hidden in locker or chests.

These are either in unmarked locations or at the end of certain open-world missions.

If you want to get the best stats and mod slots on these items, all you have to do is quick save before looting the container with the item you want. Then if the items doesn't have good stats on it, just reload the game.

You can keep reloading the quicksave until it's the best possible version of the item.

Important thing to remember:

  • If the item is only rare when you reload sometimes, then the best possible version you might be able to going to be like epic or purple.
  • If it is always purple or epic when you reload the save, then the best you might get is legendary or orange.

What is mod slots in Cyberpunk 2077?

Cyberpunk 2077 items have mod slot system which acts like sockets or slots like the other RPGs.

What is the maximum mod slot on armor?

  1. T-shirt and Jacket. The most mods on different armor categories is four for the t-shirt and jacket armor.
  2. Boots and Head. There are three mod slots on boots and head armor.
  3. Face and Pants. There maximum of two mod slots for face and pants armor.

This trick works for inventory that different shops have in Cyberpunk 2077

Just do the same process:
  • Save before talking to them and every time you reload a save, they will have a different inventory.
It seems like once you talked to them though, their inventory becomes set until you wait a whole day of time to refresh their items. Just make sure to quicksave before you talk to them.

Bonus tips

If you gen an item roll that's pretty decent but not the best, loot it and make another quick save before trying to get better stat rolls on that item by rolling back in your initial quick save.

This way, if you get tired of trying to reroll stats on an item and haven't found anything better than that pretty good version, you can at least reload that quck save where you looted the best version of the item you found.

Given the loot systems in Cyberpunk, this is definitely the best way to get the most buffed out items and this trick is really useful when you find a piece of armor that you like and is unique.
